The Association of La Buena Vida Estates, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation organized under the laws of Arizona. It is governed by two documents: the Association Bylaws, and the Covenants, Restrictions and Reservations (CRR's.) Both documents were drawn up when the first section of the subdivision was originally platted in 1968. The Bylaws were amended and restated in 1997. The CRR's were amended once in 1977 to allow the installation of evaporative coolers. Copies are available for download on the Documents page.
The Association is a "planned community" association under Arizona law. Membership is mandatory. When you buy or own property in La Buena Vida Estates, membership in the home owners association comes as a part of property ownership.
